Seen around Tulus...

These pitchers are a common part of the hygiene program in Darfur. They are use to wash hands, feet, face, etc.











At one home we visited we were offered sweets and perfume. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do when they handed me a bottle of perfume so someone demonstrated by squirting a little in the palm of the hand and dabbing it under the arms! I suppose I probably was in need of a shower at that point!







At most visits someone would bring a pitcher of water around with a single cup to share. I notice this also at the airport where there is a water container and one tin cup that everyone shares when they want a drink.









Supper cooking on the stove. Hot coals in the bottom provide the heat.
